British actor Tom Hardy, in full Edward Thoms Hardy, gets the attention of mainstream audiences worldwide with his breakthrough performance as Eames in Christopher Nolan’s Sci-fi thriller Inception (2010). However, he has been working continuously on stage and screen since his television debut in the miniseries Band of Brothers. 

After his cast in a World War II drama, Hardy left his studies at the prestigious Drama Centre in London and started acting as Twombly in Ridley Scot’s Black Hawk Dawn and as a villain in Star Trek: Nemesis. Edward Thomas Hardy was born in the Hammersmith district of London on 15 September 1977; his mother, Elizabeth Anne, is an artist and painter, and his father, Chips Hardy, is a writer. Hardy first studied at Reed’s School, and his education continued at Tower House School. Then he looked at Richmond Drama School and Drama Centre with his Oscar Nominee, Michael Fassbender. Personal Life

As far as his personal life is concerned, Hardy married Sarah Ward, a producer, in 1999 and divorced her in 2004. After meeting assistant director Rachel Speed in 2005, he had a son before separating in 2009. In July 2014, Tom married an actress Charlotte Riley after dating her for a year. They gave birth to two children, the first in 2015 and the second in 2018. 

Hardy spent his youth drinking alcohol and using crack cocaine to cope. Hardy met Bronson several times during the production of his film about his life, and they became good friends. Moreover, Hardy appeared in Debrett’s list of the most influential people in the United Kingdom.
